In the Physical plan of the Federation of BiH proposed specified direction of the expressway Mostar-Široki Brijeg-Croatian border. As part of this project it is necessary to start from phase to improve existing main road to the level of half-profile expressway with overtaking lanes, then consider the route of the spatial plan, variants of General Project (Purchaser JP Ceste FBiH, 2009), and additionally analyze all relevant aspects before valorisation and multi-criteria analysis. Studies of the route should be performed in the entire territory of the city of Mostar (connection to Corridor Vc), as well as to the Croatian border (location Drinovci) and should take into account planned joining of in the Adriatic-Ionian highway (location EIA Župa). The designer is obliged to consider and analyze all favorable existing and new solutions using indicators from so far performed planning documents, studies of road network, conceptual design and preliminary designs at the present site, and process and propose best solutions that will be evaluated in the previous feasibility study. In the event that the result of this project significantly deviate from the route of the physical plan of the Federation, it is necessary to develop appropriate underlays that will be submitted to the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning in order to harmonize routes.
